The Ministry of Health recently announced the introduction of 8 new Ontario Health Teams.
South Simcoe was not listed but Stevenson Memorial Hospital President and CEO Jody Levac says he is working with 30 partners in the area to make sure when their time comes, they are ready.
He says the model is not yet clear for South Simcoe and no timeline has been set to receive an approval but they are making their own improvements within the current system.
