After cancelling last year’s event due to the pandemic, McHappy returned this past Wednesday (Sep 22).
Rory MacKinnon is owner/operator of the McDonald’s in Angus and Alliston.
Despite the rain, and COVID protocols to be followed, they raised 23,000.
Rory says $7,000 of that is going to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation and Matthews House is getting $3,000.
Some of the funds also went to the Borden Family Resource Centre.
