The 2022 municipal election will be a little different in New Tecumseth.
Deputy Mayor Richard Norcross says the pandemic has made it clear paper ballots may be a thing of the past.
Norcross says with the change, personal schedules and weather will no longer be a reasonable excuse for not casting a ballot
He says there is still plenty of time to learn how the system functions and to work out all the bugs.
The next municipal elections in Ontario aren’t until next October 24th.
