There’s still time to get a Smile Cookie!
Tim Hortons Restaurant owners from Milton & Hornby are donating 100% of proceeds from sales of Smile Cookies to The Darling Home for Kids. The cookies are available all this week, ending on Sunday, September 19th.
CEO of The Darling Home for Kids, Kristin Horrell, says the money will be going towards The Embrace Campaign, helping fund an expansion of the building.
“Meeting the needs of the community in our current space is an ever-increasing challenge. As the number of medically complex children in Ontario continues to rise, the demand for our services has increased. We need to meet this growing demand and enhance our space to better accommodate our unique programming. We are honoured to have been chosen by the Milton & Hornby Restaurant owners and know that the funds raised by Smile Cookies will bring us one step closer to fulfilling our vision of a world where no child is too complex to receive the love, care, and support they deserve.”
The Darling Home for Kids has plans to expand their footprint by 10,000 sq. ft. to accommodate the growing demand for care.
