The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says a driver was caught going 150 km/h in a 60-zone on Tuesday night.
That’s 90 km/h over the limit, and if this were on Highway 401 it would still lead to a stunt driving charge. You never need to go that fast.
The HRPS says the driver received a 30-day licence suspension and their Mustang was impounded for 14-days.
The tweet from the Halton Police Milton/Halton Hills account has been shared below.
The 1 District Response Team caught this mustang going 150km/h in a posted 60 zone last night. Earned this driver a 30 day licence suspension and a 14 day vehicle impound. Fines, impounds and suspensions have increased. #justslowdown #roadsaftey ^DA pic.twitter.com/bh1OWk4V5t
