The age of those becoming infected with COVID is dropping as the push for vaccines continues.
Dr. Charles Gardner is the Chief Medical Officer of Health with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
He says now that schools are open and a large portion of the student population cannot receive the vaccine it is up to the rest of us to help keep them healthy.

Dr. Gardner believes if you work with children you should be vaccinated against coronavirus.
Since mid July 74 percent of the cases in Simcoe Muskoka were people who had not received the vaccine.
