A virtual question and answer session is being held this evening for parents and students on COVID vaccinations.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit will host the live event between 7 – 8 pm on Zoom.
Associate Medical Officer of Health Dr. Colin Lee and Pediatrician Dr. Sarah Barker will answer questions about the vaccine, informed consent and public health measures.
As directed by the Ministry of Health, COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be offered in some secondary school locations to students born in 2009 or before and their
families, school staff and people in the local community.
Clinics will be held between Thursday, September 9 and Friday, September 17.
COVID-19 vaccinations are still available to eligible residents through participating pharmacies, primary care providers, and pop-up clinics.
