There’s nothing like going to the Milton Farmers’ Market, getting a Bacon-on-a-Bun sandwich from Troy’s Diner, and looking at the deals on local fresh produce.
Well, on Saturday, September 11th, you will also be able to get a shot of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Milton Farmers’ Market.
One of the two GO-VAXX buses will be at the Milton Fairgrounds this Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to any eligible Farmers’ Market patrons in attendance looking to get their first or second dose.
The President and CEO of the Milton Chamber of Commerce, Scott McCammon, says it’ll be an easy process to get your shot.
The vaccine doses will be available to anyone aged 12 and over in 2021, while supplies last.
McCammon adds that getting the COVID-19 vaccine at the Milton Farmers’ Market is the start of a fun morning.
With the recent announcement of a COVID-19 vaccine certificate system for Ontario, vaccination numbers are spiking once again. Proof of vaccination will be needed for indoor restaurants, gyms, theatres, and concerts; however, it will not be needed for patios nor retail. The system will become active on Wednesday, September 22nd.

The Milton Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday at the Milton Fairgrounds (136 Robert Street) from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
