Someone didn’t get the memo about the first day of school.
South Simcoe Police say they clocked a car doing more than twice the speed limit in a school zone.
They say a Richmond Hill man was doing 90 in a 40 km/h Community Safety Zone in front of Cookstown Central Public School on County Road 27 Tuesday (sep 7) morning.
The 40 year old was given a ticket and a court date, while he gave up his licence for a week and his car for a fortnight.
