Honda recently donated $2500 to help build raised garden beds in the community garden in Alliston.
9 raised beds were added to the current garden, bringing the total to 69.
New Tecumseth Ward 5 Councillor Donna Jebb says the community gardens were started with some help and a vision in mind.

Councillor Jebb says the group also provides cooking and canning lessons to those who grow vegetables, so they are available year round.
The community garden is located at the end of Elizabeth Street in Alliston.
