BY GAWD, that’s Aidan Hughes’ music!
The Milton Menace have announced two more returnees ahead of tonight’s preseason game against the North York Rangers.ย We covered the returns of Forester, Amaral, and Randhawa earlier this week. Now, the Menace will see two more players from their inaugural roster back in the grey and black.
Let’s go in chronological order. Oakville-native Adam Tucci will be back this fall. The 20-year-old scored 12-goals and nine-assists in 49-games for the Menace in the 2019-2020 season. Also of note, the 5’10”, 161 lbs Tucci also scrapped his way to 109 penalty minutes (PIM). If he manages to build off his decent scoring pace from two years ago, the young man they call ‘Tooch’ could resemble a young Dougie Gilmour for the Menace.

The 2001 born Oakville native Adam Tucci returns for 2021 / 2022 to build off of his 1st year success tallying 21 points in 49 games.

The Milton Menace will also see the return of Aidan Hughes for the upcoming season. Hughes was a HUGE part of the Menace’s offence in the 2019-2020 season, scoring 21-goals and 12-assists in just 42-games in 2019-2020. That was coming off just two-goals in 40-games for the Burlington Cougars the year previous. Hughes was second on the team in goals scored behind captain Jordan Stock. The 19-year-old highly skilled Hughes comes in at a slight frame of 5’11” and 154 lbs (according to Elite Prospects). In what is a trend for the inaugural Menace roster, Hughes also managed to put up more than 100 PIM. To steal a hockey term from Brian Burke, we’ll see if that truculent mentality will stick around for the Menace this season.

As mentioned, the Menace are back on the ice Friday night. They’ll play their second preseason game against the North York Rangers. Milton beat NYR 4-2 on Wednesday night in what was their first on-ice competitive action in over a year.
