The Milton Menace continue to see their experienced players return for next season.
After announcing the return of captain Jordan Stock, the Menace have announced that three more players from their inaugural roster will be coming back for the 2021-2022 season.
Last week, the Menace announced on social media that right-handed defenceman Owen Forester will be on the team this fall. In just 29 games, Forester put up three goals, six assists and nine points with an eye catching stat of 62 penalty minutes. Team President Jason Tryfon commented on Instagram, saying “‘Captain Crunch’ is back!” It’s unclear if the 18-year-old will wear a letter on his jersey next season.
Also announced recently is the return of Campbellville-native (according to Elite Prospects), Tyler Amaral. The 20-year-old left-handed defenceman was acquired mid-season by the Menace during the 2019-2020 season. After coming in from the Toronto Jr. Canadiens, Amaral put up an impressive 12-points (one goal, 11 assists) in 19-games. The rearguard is expected to be a big component for a Menace team that expects to compete this upcoming season.
Most recently, the Milton Menace have announced the return of forward Justin Randhawa. The 19-year-old will turn 20 in December. Coming in at 6’0″ and 181 lbs, Randhawa brings a lot of potential to the Menace. While finishing the season with 25-points (13-goals, 12-assists) in 51-games, Randhawa only put up four-points (two-goals, two-assists) in 15-games with the Menace following a trade mid-season with the Oakville Blades. Hopefully he can be part of the leadership group moving forward and carve a good spot for himself in the lineup.
Menace General Manager Dan Del Monte commented on the “season that wasn’t” last year. Here’s what he had to say. You can also here Del Monte discuss last year’s offseason acquisitions, as well as the emergence of Jordan Stock as a leader here.
