The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says a child is in critical condition following a drowning incident in Burlington over the weekend.
At 1:48 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a residence in Burlington for reports of a child having drowned in a swimming pool. Police and Paramedics were quickly on scene. The HRPS says lifesaving measures were performed. The child was transported to hospital where they remain in a critical condition.
An investigation at the scene continues in an effort to determine the circumstances.
