With the COVID-19 pandemic ongoing, the Town of Milton will be holding this Thursday’s Canada Day celebration virtually once again.
In a Public Service Announcement, the Town says that a big focus of the event this will be to not just look at Canada’s future, but reflect on the country’s past as well. It adds that its “ultimate goal is to work towards creating a community where everyone feels respected and welcomed, however they choose to recognize the day.”
While the reopening process continues to improve, the Town says the idea behind remaining virtual this year is to prevent large gatherings.
There will be a number of activities for friends and families to take part in. Click here to see a full listing of planned activities and a schedule of events.
