The Region of Halton is putting in more work on Britannia Road.
That means Britannia at Farmstead Drive will need to close for construction. In a notice, the Region says “The closure will help facilitate ongoing work on Phase 1 of the Britannia Road Corridor Improvements project.”
There are big plans for Britannia. Those include widening the road to six lanes, building an overpass bridge, sound walls, bike lanes, multi-use paths, and more. You can read all about the plans for Britannia Road here.
The closure takes effect on Monday, May 3rd at 7:00 a.m.. It will last until June 7th at 7:00 p.m..
