A Burlington man won $100,000 playing POKER LOTTO.
David Haynes says he’s a regular player, but this is his biggest win yet. The 56-year-old automotive industry worker says he bought his ticket after seeing how high the jackpot was sitting at. “I was shocked when I used the Ticket Checker to check my ticket. The store clerk was just as shocked as I was!”
The grandparent went to his own mother’s house to share the news, saying she was ecstatic for him. His plan is to treat himself when the lockdown is over.
“I plan to sit and look at the cheque to let it sink in before taking it to the bank. I will treat myself more once lockdown is over. Until then, I’ll be the one around town with a permanent smile.”
Haynes’s winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Guelph Line in Burlington.
