The Halton Regional Police Service is looking for a male suspect after it was confirmed that counterfeit money was used in a transaction.
On Friday, April 16th, at roughly 8:00 p.m., the male suspect attended Applestone Pizzeria at 1900 Appleby Line in Burlington. The suspect ordered buffalo wings and used a counterfeit Canadian $100 bill to pay. He then received $86.50 of real money in change. The suspect immediately left the pizzeria once he got his change.
The suspect is described by the HRPS as:
- Male, Middle Eastern, 20-30 yrs old, 5’8 – 5’10, weighing between 150lbs and 180lbs.
