Halton Regional Police Chief Steve Tanner in a statement on Twitter says that the Halton Police will not be randomly stopping vehicles as part of the new guidelines set out by the Province of Ontario.

Yesterday, Premier Doug Ford announced that Ontario was giving police temporary powers to enforce its stay-at-home order and allowing them to stop individuals and vehicles and ask their reasons for leaving their homes.
