The Townsend Smith Foundation is also getting ready for its Hike For Hospice event on Saturday, May 1st. The organization held its 2020 event last fall and crushed all expectations with its first attempt at going virtual. With a goal of $5,000, the Foundation wound up raising more than $20,000. You can register to be a part of the virtual 2021 Hike for Hospice here.
All proceeds raised by the Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation are going towards their ultimate goal of bringing a hospice to North Halton. It is their mission to provide close-to-home palliative care to residents.
