United Way Halton & Hamilton is raving about the success of its annual fundraising campaign.
In total, $10,650,000 was raised nationwide, surpassing this year’s fundraising goal of $10,000,000.
At the second annual Virtual Campaign Celebration on Wednesday, March 31st, President and CEO Brad Park says he’s proud to see thousands of people finding ways help raise money for local charity.
“Together, we have stayed united during a difficult year. Thousands of caring individuals and organizations have chosen to turn their gratitude into action, making the Halton & Hamilton region a better place.”
The event was hosted by Park and Weather Network anchor, Chris Mei. Special appearances were made by John Chisolm, United Way Halton & Hamilton’s 2020 Campaign Cabinet Chair, and Anna Iacobelli, United Way Halton & Hamilton’s 2021 Campaign Cabinet Chair.
“Words cannot express our gratitude towards all the donors and business communities of Burlington, Halton Hills, Hamilton, Milton and Oakville who continue to give back and provide support for life changing local programs,” adds Park.
