The Halton Regional Police Service is looking for a male suspect in a reported assault case.
On Thursday, March 11th, at roughly 11:00 a.m., the complainant attended the Walmart located at 2065 Fairview Street, Burlington. When leaving the store, the complainant was going to their vehicle when a male and a female approached them.
The Halton Police says the complainant was chased and assaulted by the male. It is believed that the complainant entered the wrong vehicle after being shouted at by the unknown male, which may have prompted the assault.
The male is described by the Halton Police as:
- Male, Middle Eastern, 40-45 years of age, 5’9-5’11, and approximately 175lbs.
Investigators are looking to speak with the male and female to determine their version of events.
