The Halton Region has provided an update on restaurants during the pandemic.
Restaurants, and other indoor and outdoor food or drink establishments, can now allow 50% capacity into their building, with a maximum of 50 patrons. This is so long as physical distancing requirements are met.
As an added measure to protect the safety of staff, patrons and the broader community, Dr. Hamidah Meghani, Halton Region’s Medical Officer of Health has issued instructions to owners, operators and other persons responsible for these establishments. You can read Dr. Meghani’s instructions here.
The change took full effect at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23rd.
