A 31-year-old Milton man is facing a charge following a single-vehicle collision in Milton.
The crash happened at roughly 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21st at Speyer Park located at 687 Marks Street. The Halton Police says the driver entered the park at a high rate of speed, struck a pole and flipped over – causing significant damage.
The HRSP reports there being several families with children playing in the park. Fortunately, none were struck or injured during the incident.
The driver was taken into custody. He was charged with Dangerous Driving and was released pending a future court date. He was treated for minor injuries at hospital.
