One person is facing an impaired driving charge after being stopped in Halton last week.
The case did not involve Milton. On Monday, March 15th, just before 11:30 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Lakeshore Road and Torrance Street in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, a 50-year-old Burlington resident was charged with operation while impaired.
Last week was also National Impaired Driving Prevention Week.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
