The Milton Youth Task Force is looking for nominees for eight youth awards.
The awards promote a positive image of young people and are to generate awareness of the valuable contributions that youth and supportive adults make in the community.
Those in grades 7 to 12 are eligible to be nominated for awards like:
- Community Leadership;
- Artist of the Year;
- Athlete of the Year;
- Champion for Youth;
- Youth Eco Warrior;
- Youth Change-Maker;
- Outstanding Group of the Year;
- Good Neighbour.
If you’d like to apply, or nominate someone, here is the application. Applications close April 2nd. Award recipients will be recognized during National Youth Week, May 1st – 7th, 2021.
