Seven people are facing impaired driving charges after being stopped in Halton last week.
Two of the cases involved Milton:
On March 2nd, just before 9:30 p.m., Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Derry Road and Bronte Street South in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 47-year-old Milton resident was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On March 5th, just after 12:00 a.m., Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ontario Street and Childs Drive in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 23-year-old Georgetown resident was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect someone of driving impaired.
