Five people are facing impaired driving charges after being stopped in Halton last weekend.
Two of the cases involve Milton:
On February 26th, just after 11:00 a.m., Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Bronte Street South and Heslop Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 23-year-old Campbellville resident was charged with operation while impaired and failure or refusal to comply with demand.
On February 26th, just before 9:30 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Derry Road and Ontario Street in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 48-year-old Brampton resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect someone of driving impaired.
