The Milton District Hospital Foundation is offering dinner and a movie.
Its ‘Take a Break Dinner Packages’ are flying off the virtual shelves as residents rush to raise money for the Foundation. There are two options for people to buy: the romantic ‘Me & You Package’ and the family-oriented ‘More Than Two! Package’. The couples package has sold out, but there are still some family packages available.
The Associate Director of Development for the MDHF, Andrea Cayer, shares what exactly you’d be buying.
There’s also wine, cider, and kids drinks available – and it all comes with a movie rental!
Everything offered is being provided thanks to partners and sponsors for the event. The three-course dinner is being made by the kitchen staff at ClubLink/RattleSnake Golf Club; the cider and kids drinks are being offered by Wheelbarrow Orchards; Chudleighs is providing dessert; Kuyvenhoven Greenhouses is providing flowers for each packages; and, SalesEvent.com is providing romantic candles for those who chose the ‘couples’ package.
Sponsors include Achilles Mazda of Milton; Desjardins Insurance Don McRae Insurance Agency inc.; Merit Group; Wallace Chevrolet; and, CIBC Private Wealth Management Hayes/McKay Investment Group.
With the packages selling out so quickly, Cayer says this has been a surprise hit for them! They may consider doing this kind of thing more often.
The pick-up date for all of the packages is Saturday, March 20th.
All money raised will go towards the Milton District Hospital Foundation.
