A Toronto resident is facing impaired driving charges after being stopped in Milton last week.
On February 9th, just before 8:30 a.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Trafalgar Road and Britannia Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 45-year-old Toronto resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
The impaired driving case was one of three cases in Halton over the week.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
