Six people are facing impaired driving charges after being stopped by the Halton Police over the weekend.
Two of the six cases involved Milton:
On February 5th, just after 11:00 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of James Street and Main Street East in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 29-year old Milton man was charged with operation while impaired.
On February 7th, just after 11:30 p.m., Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Trafalgar Road and Highway 401 in Milton. As a result of an investigation, 34-year old Brampton resident was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
