A Milton woman is facing charges after refusing to provide a sample of her breath.
On Friday, February 5th, the Ontario Provincial Police in Wellington County says that they receive complaints involving a black pick-up truck in the area of Highway 7 in Rockwood.
Officers then found the pick-up truck at an address on First Line near Eden Mills.
The driver spoke with the officers as they demanded for a Roadside Screening Device test. The driver allegedly refused to provide the required sample of their breath.
The 51-year-old woman has been charged with failure or refuse to comply with demand contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on February 23rd.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days and driver’s licence suspended for 90 as per statute.
