Five people are facing impaired driving charges after being stopped by the Halton Police last week.
One of the cases involved Milton:
On February 2, 2021 just after 2:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Appleby Line and No. 2 Side Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, a 35-year-old Milton resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
