Brian Abercrombie matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in a November DAILY GRAND draw.
He says he plays for fun and never expected to win. Of course, he’s happy that he did. The first thing he did after checking the ticket was tell his wife.
“I wanted to let her sleep, so when I heard she was awake I ran upstairs and stood there with the ticket in my hand that read ‘Big Winner’ waiting for her to see it!”
The 56-year old grandfather says he’ll put the money in the bank and help his kids out.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Postmaster Drive in Oakville.
