A new catholic elementary is coming to Milton.
The Ontario government is providing nearly $19 million in funding for the new school. More than 670 students will attend the school with 88 childcare spaces and five additional childcare rooms.
“It is no secret that our community continues to grow and I am proud to be part of a government that invests in growing communities,” says Milton MPP Parm Gill. “This new school will ensure our children have a safe and healthy environment to grow, and learn in.”
Ontario’s Education Minister, Stephen Lecce, says the provincial government is investing in students and giving them every tool to achieve their full potential.
“Construction of the new Milton elementary school further demonstrates our government’s historic investment in Ontario’s schools and our overall commitment to supporting our students and families.”
The unnamed school will be built at 675 Kennedy Circle West in the southeast end of Milton.
