A series of camping pots has been recalled.
All sizes of Alpha and Sigma Pots with a black latch and no screw are considered dangerous by Health Canada. It says the latches could disengage, causing the pot to become unstable, leading to what could be a burn or scald hazard.
The following models have been recalled:
2,050 units have been sold in Canada and 16,208 were sold in the US. The products were on shelves between January, 2019 and November, 2020.
If you have purchased one of these pots, you are asked to stop using them immediately and contact Sea to Summit toll-free at 1-(888) 201-4977 from 9.00am to 5.00pm MST Monday through to Friday for a latch repair kit.
