One of the newest developments in the COVID-19 pandemic is Health Canada’s approval of vaccines.
myFM is owned by My Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). An MBC account executive, Marie Andrews, recently received her first dose of the vaccine. She explains how that was made possible.
Andrews adds that she jumped at the opportunity.
She was first inoculated on Friday evening. She describes the actual needle as small, saying it wasn’t painful to receive. With it being several days after the initial shot, Andrews says she feels “totally normal.”
Andrews says her mother-in-law should be getting vaccinated either this week or next, and that she herself is set to receive the second of her two doses on January 30th.
In order to visit her mother-in-law, Andrews will still have to be regularly tested for COVID-19 as a safety precaution.
