Two people are facing impaired driving charges after being stopped in Halton last week.
Fortunately, neither of the two cases involved Milton. One was a Grimsby resident being stopped near the QEW, and the other was a Georgetown resident being stopped in downtown Georgetown.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 911 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
The Halton Police says its officers remain committed to road safety through prevention, education, and enforcement initiatives.
