A major drug bust has taken place in Halton.
On Wednesday, January 6th, the Halton Regional Police Service Burlington Street Crime Unit executed residential search warrants at two residences – one in Burlington and one in Kitchener.
As a result of the investigation the following drugs were seized:
- 12.3 grams of cocaine
- 562 oxycodone pills
- 5.6 grams of methamphetamine
- 52 Vivan pills (Amphetamine Derivative)
- 4 LSD tab
- 11.1 grams psilocybin
- 343 grams cannabis
To go along with the drugs, police also seized roughly $23,000 in Canadian currency.
46-year old Patrick Jones of Burlington has been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Psilocybin
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Amphetamine Derivatives
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – LSD
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Distribution
39-year old Malgorzata Zoravkovic of Kitchener has been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Psilocybin
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Amphetamine Derivatives
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – LSD
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Distribution
Both have been released pending a court appearance.
