Environment Canada is warning of freezing rain to hit Milton and Halton Hills on Friday.
Freezing rain is forecast to begin late Friday afternoon or early Friday evening. It could be mixed with snow at first. After several hours, it will transition into snow on Friday night.
In a Special Weather Statement, Environment Canada says “This precipitation is associated with a low pressure system moving north from Texas. There is still some uncertainty with the exact track of the system as it approaches Lake Erie, which will affect the exact timing and duration of the freezing rain.”
