The Halton Police has released more information regarding Monday morning’s fire at 46 Cobblehill Road.
A 75-year old woman has died as a result of injuries sustained in the fire. Halton Hills Fire managed to pull her from inside the home. Another person, identified as the person who called 911, was rescued from the balcony of the Acton home.
Damage to the house is estimated at $500,000.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office and Halton regional Police will continue the investigation.
One person has been taken to hospital and is in serious condition after a fire in Acton.
Halton Police tweeted this morning that two residents were rescued from the home and one is in serious condition.
