News of the shutdown is getting a mixed reception.
Once again – salons will be hit hard by the forced closure and the group that advocates on their behalf says the decision to lump them into the affected businesses isn’t fair.
Ontario Professional Hairstylist Association President Debbie Dunseath says that of the 180 salon owners that she has spoken to, none of them have had a single COVID-19 case.
Dunseath is asking salons to send infection related information to the association. It will then forward the information to the Ford government.
