Milton MPP Parm Gill recently announced new funding for Milton.
The Town of Milton is receiving $933,000 in the Safe Restart Agreement. The funding will go towards helping offset operating costs for the Town of Milton.
“This funding will provide our community with the support it needs to continue delivering critical services that we all rely on everyday,” says MPP Gill. “[This] announcement will help Milton develop a 2021 budget that reflects the reality of COVID-19 and give them the confidence they need to proceed with capital projects that will drive economic growth.”
The Halton Region will also receive $5.3 million from the Ontario government to provide financial relief for municipalities. This will help local budgets to ensure they do not carry operating deficits into 2021. Read about Milton’s 2021 Budget here.
