If you’ve been enjoying ordering beer, wine or cocktails with your delivery or take-out, you’ll like an announcement made on Wednesday, December 9th.
Ontario’s Attorney General, Doug Downey, says the government is further supporting local restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries and distilleries by making what was a temporary service, permanent.
Downey explains what led to this decision.
Other changes were also announced Wednesday.
Downey adds the government is also keeping taxes and fees on product low and permanently extending patios after receiving so much positive feedback from small business owners.
The Attorney General says this is really an extension of the support local movement that caught momentum during COVID-19.
Downey says this is an opportunity for everyone to support Made-In-Ontario products and local small businesses.
