Every year, myFM and Home Hardware Milton team up for an initiative called ‘Project Poinsettia’.
MBC stations across Ontario donate poinsettias during the holiday season to a local LTCH or retirement home. This year, we stopped by Revera Birkdale Place on Farmstead Drive in Milton. The myFM team followed COVID-19 protocols and dropped the plants off at the front door. The Birkdale team then took over from there to help limit contact with the residents.
Thank you to Home Hardware Milton and Jeff Seydel for being a consistent partner in this wonderful initiative, and thank you to the team at Birkdale for co-operating and making sure that Project Poinsettia could be carried out in 2020.
