It’s been 40-years of service for Milton Mayor Gordon Krantz.
He holds the record as longest-serving Mayor in Canadian history, passing ‘Hurricane’ Hazel McCallion in 2016. Now, a local retirement residence is congratulating him on his many years of service, and thanking him for the work that he has accomplished.
Martindale Gardens, located at 45 Martin Street, says Mayor Krantz has been a long-time supporter of its seniors community.
“Mayor Krantz was instrumental in getting Martindale Gardens off the ground 16 years ago and continues to provide
significant support to the residence,” says Jessie Warrington, Retirement Counsellor at Martindale.
Warrington adds that they appreciate the work Mayor Krantz continues to do, and calls him a “pillar in the community.”
