The Milton Chamber of Commerce is trying to help local restaurants.
It’s teaming up with Gordon Food Service for #EatLocalMilton. Residents are able to submit their receipts from select local restaurants.
The President and CEO of the Chamber, Scott McCammon, says they’ll do a few draws and the winners will get gift cards.
The top prize is a $1,000 restaurant gift card, with five other gift card prizes valued at either $750 or $500. The total prizing is $4,000 in gift cards.
There was an early bird gift card that was worth $500. It was drawn for the new year. The rest of the prizes are open until January 31st.
McCammon hopes it will create sustained business for our local restaurants.
Submit your receipt to contest@miltonchamber.ca with your name, contact information, and the participating restaurant that you ordered from. You can submit as many times as you like, but a receipt can only be submitted once, meaning the more you support local businesses, the more your chances increase to win!
