Remembrance Day ceremonies were held across Milton yesterday morning.
At Victoria Park, residents gathered at the cenotaph to pay their respects. Many stood during a moment of silence, with some pinning their poppies on the wreaths lined up on the cenotaph.
Sergeant with the Halton Police, Paul Rudall, says the day always means a lot to him.
Rudall also commends the residents who attended Victoria Park for keeping safe distances from each other and wearing masks.
Several residents also commented on what Remembrance Day means to them.
It hasn’t been an easy year for the Milton Legion branch. While Remembrance Day is now over, you can still donate to the branch. Find them at 21 Charles Street in Milton.
