Two suspects are facing charges after a robbery in Oakville.
On Monday, November 9th, at roughly 4:00 a.m., a guest at the Sandman Hotel in Oakville was robbed at gunpoint by a man and woman.
The two suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, but were found and arrested by the Halton Police. A loaded handgun was found inside the vehicle (pictured).
25-year old Robert Campbell of Richmond Hill is facing:
- Robbery with a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
- Carless use of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm for a dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
- Tampering with the serial number
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
- Pointing a firearm
20-year old Kaylee Zelnicker of Thornhill is facing:
- Robbery with a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
- Carless use of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm for a dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
- Tampering with the serial number
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
