A 16-year old Georgetown youth is facing charges after a theft investigation was concluded by the Halton Police.
On Thursday, October 29th, the Halton Regional Police Service – 1 District Street Crime Unit concluded a theft investigation which involved a series of motor vehicle break-ins in Georgetown, Acton and Milton.
The 16-year old was identified by the police as the person responsible for the break-ins, and a search warrant was executed at a home in Georgetown and investigators seized stolen property. That Halton Police says the owners of the recovered property have been notified.
The 16-year-old male from Georgetown has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Fraud (2 counts)
The accused has been released from custody pending a court appearance in Milton.
