The Halton Police say a section of Derry Road in Milton is closed following a fatal single-vehicle collision.
The crash happened just before 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The report says the driver crashed on Derry Road between McNiven Road and Twiss Road. They died as a result of the collision.
While Derry remains closed, traffic can detour through Kilbride Street, as well as Conservation Road.
No further information on the driver has been provided.
The Halton Police says its Collision Reconstruction Unit remains on scene “conducting a comprehensive investigation.”
The section of Derry Road should remain closed for several hours.
